Although all ingredients used are not organic, we pride ourselves on using quality ingredients. Every ingredient is responsibly sourced and never tested on animals. Organic ingredients are listed on the packaging with an asterick (*) next to the name of the ingredient.  Besides products we use for color and fragrances, our products are natural and vegan. 

Orders are processed in 1-3 business days. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. If you do not receive tracking information via e-mail, check your spam folder first, then contact us if there is no e-mail. You may email us (info.pureorchidaes@gmail.com) or call us (586-960-5422). We are committed to providing a positive customer experience. Unopened products can be exchanged, however, the customer is responsible for the shipping fee. We do not allow refunds.  Please email us (info.pureorchidaes@gmail.com) so that we can resolve any issues. You can expect a response within 24-48 hours. You can also call us at (586) 960-5422, if no one is available, please leave a message including your name, phone number, and brief description of your issue. 

Our soap is made via the cold process method which can take 2-6 weeks before it's ready to be used. We are always working hard to keep our shelves stocked so that you can purchase products right when you want them! We will always announce when items are restocked via social media and e-mail so be sure you're connected with us.

We use the cold process method for making our soaps but generally speaking, soap is made through a chemical process called saponification. We combine fatty acids (oils and butters) with a base (we use sodium hydroxide "lye") and once they undergo a chemical reaction, we're left with glycerol and fatty acid salts (soap). We thoroughly blend oils and butters with a mixture of lye water, pour into molds and let organic chemistry do its thing. After 24-48 hours in the mold, the soap is ready to be cut and cure. Curing usually takes 4-6 weeks and is done to ensure excess water does not remain in the finished product. After the soap has cured for the appropriate amount of time, it is ready to be shipped for your enjoyment!
